If you look at the sign, your question will probably be ‘what the heck is MS DOTS‘? Well, translated it means Miss Dot’s Country Store, makes perfect sense, n’est pas?

“Capps, Florida….”
This house always fascinates me as I drive to and from Tallahassee. It is in Capps, Florida which in recent memory is probably best know for the place where Ted Turner and Jane Fonda married in 1991 at Turner’s Avalon plantation. Around World War II tung nuts were grown there, the oil of which was used in things like paint and varnish.[Wikipedia] Routes 19 and 27 intersect here, and aside from this building there are only a small handful of other, rather dilapidated buildings at the intersection. I think we will be driving this way tomorrow and I will try and get a couple of photos of the other buildings.
